Mogra essential oil is steam-distilled from the flowers of Jasminum sambac — the mogra of Indian gajras and temple garlands. Its scent is sweet, rich and floral. In Ayurveda, Mallika is described as madhura and tikta in taste, laghu and snigdha in quality, and sheeta (cooling) in potency.
Ayurveda holds that fragrance — gandha — touches the mind, and that different scents bring different doshas back into balance.

Mogra Essential Oil in Amore
Mogra essential oil and rose essential oil together make The Divine Bloom. Applied on the wrists and neck, mogra's cooling, floral scent rises with the warmth of the skin. In Ayurvedic tradition, Mallika is sheeta — cooling — which is why mogra is worn in the hair and on the skin through the Indian summer.
