Lavender essential oil is steam-distilled from the flowering tops of the lavender plant (Lavandula angustifolia). It is clean, herbal and gently floral.

Uses of Lavender Essential Oil

• Aromatherapy — diffused, its soft herbal scent is said to calm the mind before sleep
• Sleep — a drop on a cotton pad near the pillow
• Massage — blended with a carrier oil
