Shubh Aarambh Hamper

Shubh Aarambh means a good beginning. A new home, a new job, a new year, the first Diwali in a new city.

Inside a hand-painted keepsake box with elephants and lotuses on the lid, there is a pair of golden tealight holders marked Shubh and Labh for either side of the door, a jalebi candle in a small terracotta cup, and a decorative festive piece in a jute pouch.

Once the gifts are out, the box stays. People keep it for jewellery, letters or puja things.
