A candle looks finished when it is packed. It is not.
There is a quieter sequence before that: the wax, the fragrance, the wick, the vessel, the pour, the time it takes to settle, and the final check before the box is closed.
At Amore, making is part of the story because the object should feel considered before it reaches a home.
We make in small batches and pour by hand in Indore. That does not make every candle precious by default. It simply means there are more moments at which someone can notice whether something is right.
Craft is often described as perfection. We think it is closer to attention.
The finished candle carries very little evidence of the hands that made it. That is fine. The point of craft is not to perform itself. It is to make the final ritual feel effortless.
